This section will tell you everything you need to know if you want to organise a Jeans for Genes Day at your secondary school.

It’s so easy to get involved, GENErate lots of money and really make a difference.  Click on the big red button and register for your fundraising pack.  It contains exciting new educational materials with activities and ready-made assemblies tailored for Key Stages 3 and 4.

Your fundraising guide has lots of extra ideas, designed for secondary school chldren, to help you raise even more money.

Access downloads with your personal account

Once you've registered, we'll create a personal account for you.  We'll send you a username and password that you can enter in the box to the right.

You'll be able to download part of your fundraising pack, PowerPoint presentations and audio slide shows for assemblies or the classroom, plus extra stickers, posters and much more!

You'll be able to update your details if you move to a new school.  You can even download family recipes from celebrity chefs such as James Martin and Antony Worrall-Thompson.  Ideal to bake and sell at break time!

Connor's story

Video diaries are among the new resources we have for schools this year.  Connor has Duchene muscular dystrophy and he shows us what life is like at home with his parents and his younger brothers.

His diary is suitable for key stages 3 and 4.

As well as our fantastic educational materials, Learnnewsdesk, the Guardian's news service for schools, has produced a special secondary lesson pack to celebrate Jeans for Genes Day.
