This section will tell you everything you need to know if you want to organise a Jeans for Genes Day at your primary school.

Thank you for helping us to GENErate lots of money on Jeans for Genes Day 2008.  Whatever you did to raise money on the Day, you've made a big difference to children with genetic disorders.

We'd love to see your photos.  You can email them to us and we'll put them into our supporter gallery.

Yet to do your Day?

You might not have been able to hold your Jeans for Genes Day on Friday 3rd October but that doesn't matter. You can hold yours whenever you like!

Click on the big red button and register for your fundraising pack.  It contains exciting new educational materials with activities and ready-made assemblies tailored for Key Stages 1 and 2.

Your fundraising guide has lots of extra ideas, designed for primary school chldren, to help you raise even more money.

Access downloads with your personal account

Once you've registered, we'll create a personal account for you.  We'll send you a username and password that you can enter in the box to the right.

You'll be able to download part of your fundraising pack, PowerPoint presentations and audio slide shows for assemblies or the classroom, plus extra stickers, posters and much more!

You'll be able to update your details if you move to a new school. 

Emma's story

Video diaries are among the new resources we have for schools this year.  Emma has achondroplasia, a restricted growth disorder.  She shows us how being around 4 feet tall affects going shopping, being at school and trying to get her way with her older sister!

Emma is 13.  Her diary is most suitable for key stage 2.

Jeans for Genes Day 2009

You might be one of those people who likes to plan ahead.  Jeans for Genes Day 2009 takes place on Friday 2nd October.  You can register for your 2009 fundraising pack now!   We'll be spending the next few months creating exciting new materials for you, so your pack will be sent out in the Summer.
